Senior Implementation Specialist

Lloyd grew up a military brat living in California, Missouri, Virginia, Washington, and eventually Nevada, graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno. Lloyd brings to DoctorsXL decades of expertise in practice management, billing and coding and to top it off he is also a gifted comedic actor. 

Lloyd began his medical career with the Nurses Aide Training Program at Washoe Medical Center–now Renown Health. As was his style, Lloyd excelled and subsequently became a Medical Assistant in a physician’s office where he could work nine to five and act five to nine. He received several acting awards and became a respected member of the regional theatre community. Eventually, Lloyd chose to pursue a career in the medical field full-time, becoming a Certified Medical Coder and a Certified Medical Office Manager, and relegated acting to beloved avocation. 

Excelling in his field, Lloyd has progressed to his current leadership role as Senior Implementation Analyst for DoctorsXL, where he applies his communication skills, learned in the theatre, and medical expertise, learned in the field. He believes in the importance of patient care and the role of technology in improving the lives of both physicians and patients. He is the go-to-guy for any issues related to medical practice management (or if you just need a good laugh).

Lloyd is a dynamic trainer and an advocate for physicians and patients in dealing with insurance carriers.When not working for his DoctorsXL clients, Lloyd works on behalf of the sick and needy through Silver Dollar Court, a service organization that provides support and housing for people suffering with end-stage AIDS.
